The founder grew up around the scrap trade in Hyderabad and has seen firsthand how much of the industry still depends on fragmented processes — phone calls, WhatsApp messages, manual records, changing prices, and operational coordination.
ScrapEarn is being built to bring technology into this environment while understanding the realities of the ground-level scrap business. The goal is not to replace the people who make this industry work, but to give them better tools.

Mohammed Ghouse Mohiuddin
Founder
ScrapEarn is being built by Mohammed Ghouse Mohiuddin, a Hyderabad-based technology enthusiast with a practical connection to the scrap industry.
Growing up around the family scrap business in Hyderabad, he was exposed to the day-to-day realities of scrap collection, sorting, grading, and trading — from the early morning yard operations to the customer interactions that define this industry.
Alongside this industry exposure, he developed a strong interest in technology and software, recognizing that many of the operational challenges he observed could be addressed with better digital workflows.
ScrapEarn emerged from combining these two perspectives — understanding how scrap actually moves through the system, and knowing how technology can make that movement more organized, transparent, and reliable for everyone involved.
This is a pre-launch project. The founder's background informs the direction; ScrapEarn's track record is being built now.
